Traffic has successfully been moved to the alternative path, optics will be removed and the Twinax DAC cables introduced once the maintinance window opens.

We're now preparing the configuration to bring up a second Ether-Bundle and weight live traffic to traverse the alternative path.

We're introducing Twinax DAC cables between edge PE routers to reduce latency and potentional future issues with optical fibres for equipment interconnecting within the same data rack. We will move traffic in this location to alternative paths/routes prior to changing from optical SFPs to Twinax DAC cables. No outage is expected, this is just an at risk notice.
