Monitoring
We have seen a large number of broadband services recover since the faulty optical equipment has been replaced by Vodafone engineers. We will continue to monitor for the next hour. If your service hasn't recovered, please email support@exascale.co.uk and we will investigate further.

Update
The engineer is now on-site at the Vodafone network site MCR11 (Manchester 11), and is proceeding the replace the faulty optical equipment to restore the service. Once Exascale sees early signs of service recovery we will update this incident accordingly.

Update
Vodafone has advised that a line card within its network is reporting alarms. Attempts to clear the alarms by reseating the card have been unsuccessful. A replacement card is being collected from Vodafone’s stores. A field engineer will then return to site to remove the faulty card and install the replacement.

Update
It would appear the uplink(s) to Vodafone are online but the bundle is down. A field engineer has been dispatched by Vodafone to MCR11 at 8AM to investigate

Investigating
We are currently observing the Uplink to the Vodafone DSL network being down. This is currently effecting all FTTP and SoGEA circuits.
