Vodafone will carry out an approved emergency SFP optical transceiver replacement at its Manchester core site on Saturday 7 November 2026 between 01:00 and 05:00 GMT to address the recurring fault affecting the Manchester DSL interconnect.
Customers using this interconnect may experience a loss of connectivity while the swap is carried out. This is a four-hour maintenance window; the exact duration of any service interruption has not been confirmed.
